6th Months...WOW! :)

Hey everyone! We've got a lot to say tonight...so grab a cup of coffee and ENJOY! :)

First off...we turned 6 months old yesterday...can you believe it?! Wow!! It feels like just yesterday Mommy and Daddy were bringing us home from the hospital. We have grown SO much! We had our 6 month well visit today with the doctor and other then the shots everything was great. Kathryn is now 17 pounds 3 ounces and 27 inches tall. Kimberly is 16 pounds 9 ounces and 26.25 inches tall. The doctor says we are beautiful and growing right on schedule!

In other big news...Kathryn got her first tooth on Friday. Its not quite big enough for us to get a picture of yet, but don't worry we'll get you a picture when we can! Kimberly does not have a tooth yet, but the doctor said it looks like it will be here soon. Since we are now 6 months old, the doctor told Mommy to start feeding us things other then just rice cereal and oatmeal. So, tonight we had our first vegetables. Since Daddy's favorite veggie is green beans, we thought we would start with that. We'll let you see the pictures and decide for yourself if we really liked it.

So, as you can see, green beans were not a very big hit tonight. But, hopefully after a few more tries we will begin to like them.

Also, the doctor agreed that we were getting pretty squashed in our infant car seats, so Mommy and Daddy bought us new car seats tonight. These are the convertible kind so that we can still be rear facing for another 6 months, but then we will hopefully be able to keep these for a few more years. We LOVE our new seats. We have so much more room and they are soooo comfy!

Also, we would like to say a GREAT big THANK YOU!!!! to Miss Julie for coming all the way down here this weekend to help Mommy and Daddy pack!! We are soo excited about our new house (we move in 3 days! YAY!). Mommy says that Miss Julie was a BIG help and she doesn't think she would have made it in time without her help! THANKS Miss Julie! :)


Tonight, we got to give Mommy her 1st Mothers Day Present from us. We decided to go take a family portrait and then Daddy let Mommy pick out her favorite family pose and we ordered a nice canvas print to hang up in our new house. We had a lot of fun taking pictures with Mommy and Daddy! Aren't we a cute family?

Now, this last one is Mommy's favorite. If only we were really at the beach....
